Arnold Schwarzenegger Shoulder Workout

Get wide shoulders with Arnold's deltoid workout.

Arnold Schwarzenegger had super thick and wide shoulders with a small waist, giving him a v-shaped upper body that few bodybuilder have today.

I say you can't go wrong following some of Arnold's advice if you want your shoulders to get as wide as possible.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Deltoid Workout

For shoulders Arnold would do seated barbell presses for 6 sets of 6 to 10 reps,
followed by standing lateral raises 6 sets of 6 to 10 reps,
then seated rear delt lateral raises for 5 sets of 6 to 10 reps,
and finishing with cable lateral raises for 5 sets of 10 to 12 reps.

Arnold also invented his own exercise that works all three head of the deltoids (front, middle and rear), he called it "The Arnold Press".

Here's how you do it: Take two dumbbells and start at shoulder height with your palms facing toward and your elbows next to the sides of your body, then press the dumbbells overhead while also rotating your hands until your palms are facing forward in the top position. Do not fully lockout, before you lower and repeat for reps.

Note: For more information on the best workouts for muscle mass you should get yourself a copy of The Martix Mass Bodybuilding Guide, it contains proven scientific methods to help you reach your full genetic potential in muscular mass as quickly as possible.
